Valentine’s Day Dance

Black Hills Works serves people ages 16 and older with a variety of disabilities. Black Hills Works needs volunteers to help with its annual Valentine’s Dance. Volunteers are needed to set up and tear down tables and chairs, decorate, assist with the snack table, watch doors and serve as monitors during the dance. The dance will be from 2 .m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, in the Black Hills Works gymnasium.

Day Center Volunteer

The Hope Center is a faith-based organization in Rapid City that offers the homeless and those without hope an environment of respect, encouragement and guidance. Hope Center seeks volunteers to serve as Day Center Volunteers. Volunteer duties include processing daily mail, answering telephones, taking messages, being involved in the daily devotional and interacting with guests.

Senior Companion

The Senior Companion Program is a volunteer program that provides in-home assistance and respite care to the elderly and disabled. The program engages people ages 55 and older with limited income in volunteer service that meets critical needs in the community and provides a high-quality experience. Senior Companion volunteers might provide transportation, light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation and general companionship. Volunteers receive an hourly stipend, mileage reimbursement, meal allowance and other benefits.

Teen Up Ambassador
