Youth & Family Services seeks volunteers for its annual Kids Fair April 22-24. Volunteers are needed to assist with inflatable attractions, selling and taking tickets, the mini-train ride, and the face-painting booth.
Volunteers are needed to work a four-hour shift (two-hour shifts can be provided upon request) on any or each day of Kids Fair. Shifts are 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 11:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Rapid City Arts Council is seeking volunteers to serve as event bartenders during various arts and cultural events at the Dahl Arts Center.
Individuals must be 21 years or older and will set up, manage and run the bar during events. Volunteers will also interact with customers while providing refreshments.

Love INC is seeking a volunteer to answer phones, greet clients, and complete light clerical work. They are looking for someone to assist Monday and/or Friday afternoon. This is an on-going position. Computer experience is helpful but they will provide training.

The Helpline Center is accepting nominations for the 2016 Spirit of Volunteerism Awards – 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, at the Holiday Inn Rushmore Plaza.
Agencies may nominate as many of their volunteers as they like in the following categories – Adult, Youth, Group and Corporate Humanitarian. All nominees at the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards luncheon will be recognized before announcing the four winners. The Adult, Youth and Group winners will be awarded $500 to donate to a charity of their choice.
All nominees will be given a free ticket to the event. Individual tickets are $30 and a table of 10 is $300.
Deadline for nominations is Tuesday, April 5.
