YMCA Child Watch is looking for Volunteers! This is a free drop-in child care service for children ages 6 weeks through 5th grade, available to YMCA parents, grandparents or legal guardians who are utilizing the Y. Our volunteers are never left alone and if your own children have not completed 5th grade, they are able to come with you while you volunteer 1 4-hour shift each week. Must be at least 18 years old. Current shifts available: M-F 8:00-12:00, 9:30-1:30 or 3:30-7:30

Embe is looking for women interested in a volunteer opportunity that helps to build confidence in young girls! Combines training for a 5K walk-run with lessons, games and workouts; focuses on educating and preparing girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. The program meets twice a week for 1.25 hours Must be 18+ to volunteer.

All volunteers must commitment to one practice per week and attend our National Coach Training. No running experience necessary!

Volunteers are needed at Fork Real for kitchen food prep/clean-up and dining serving prep/clean-up. Shifts are Monday- Friday and Sunday; Morning 9:30-12:30, Afternoon 12:30-3:30, All day 9:30-3:30. Volunteers have choice of shift but must commit to one per week. Must be 14+ to volunteer; court ordered allowed.

Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board offers a variety of meaningful internships to undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of fields. Take advantage of the unique opportunity to work with the tribal nations of the Great Plains, while learning valuable and transferable skills to jumpstart your career. Must be 18+ to volunteer.

Eligibility: Students applying for and participating in the intern program must: Currently be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a student on at least a half-time schedule at an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical program (recent graduates will be considered on a case-by-case basis); Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; Begin the internship with junior standing or above.If you attend a vocational/technical school, you must have at least completed the first year of your program, at least nine months, by the beginning of the internship; Possess strong oral and written communication skills; Agree to and abide by the rules and regulations of the intern program and GPTCHB policies and procedures; and Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing technology, including: Office software suite knowledge (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Email usage (sending messages and attachments) General internet usage (searching, downloading, etc.).
