Boy Scout Camp Service Projects

The Boy Scouts of America, Black Hills Area Council seeks volunteers at the Medicine Mountain Scout Ranch. The ranch hosts and delivers quality programs to over 3,000 participants each year and is the largest youth camp in the Black Hills. To keep our camp up and running smoothly, requires many volunteers to help us with a variety of service projects throughout the property. They include:

  • Exterior/Interior Painting
  • Fence Maintenance
  • Grounds Maintenance
    • Planting
    • Mowing
    • Splitting Wood
  • Tree Cutting
  • Electrical Work
  • Plumbing Work
  • Basic Construction
  • Cleaning of Buildings

With an on-site property ranger, service can be arranged at any time and at the convenience of the individual or group. We would be extremely grateful for any help that we get. Every bit helps sustain this fantastic property that offers programs to area youth and families.
