The American Cancer Society Reach to Recovery is looking for women who have had breast cancer (one year post treatment) who want to be mentors to other women who are facing a diagnosis, diagnosed or going through treatment. Volunteers, will guide the patient through every step of their breast cancer experience. Training is available.

Box Elder’s annual community celebration, Box Elder Bash, will be held on 2 July 2016 in the field north of the hardware store on Ellsworth Road, Box Elder. Volunteers are needed for two hour shifts between 11:00 am – 10:00 pm to assist with parking lot patrol, admission, visitor information, trash removal and porta-potty paper supply.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age and older and have the ability to be outside for about two hours in high temperatures. (No air-conditioning is available)
